theMOVEMENTZ Review: Mamma Mia!

Meryl Streep is a shining star in this movie-musical about identity, family and staying true to yourself.

Simply put, if you have seen (and enjoyed) Mamma Mia! on Broadway, then you will most certainly enjoy Mamma Mia! on the silver screen. Otherwise, the chance of you fully appreciating Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus ' smashing ABBA hits, in movie form, is a little bit up in the air.

TheMOVEMENTZ Review: Hancock

A bold new SUPERHERO emerges with the Strength of SUPERMAN and the charm of gangster. Hancock is a story of love and self discovery capturing the audience with humor, action, and Drama at all the right moments. The Chemistry between the cast was a beautiful blend that carried each individually. Will Smiths, fresh charisma Charlize Therons rapture and Jason Bateman's arrested development to bring laughter at moments where there should be tears. Hancock is a great movie and should only be followed with a sequel years down the road or if writers can top the performance created with out trying to hard.

theMOVEMENTZ Review: The Love Guru

Mike Myers does it again with the culture shocking comedy The love Guru. Myers does a fantastic job connecting the two cultures between India and Canada. Although some jokes ran boarder line offensive. The love Guru manages to patch up any misunderstanding or confusion. Justin Timberlake surprisingly funny and maintains his love for Celin Dion while Jessica alba still just remains a pretty face on the movie screen. We hope to see a long series to My Myers new comedic installment.

theMOVEMENTZ Review: Kung-Fu Panda

A well orchestrated animated movie for all audience groups. Kung-Fu Panda shows us that the growth of faith and hope can bring anyone out of any unfortunate circumstance. "There is no secret ingredient" A great cast of voice overs from the likes of Jack Black, Lucy lui, Jackie Chan, and Seth Rogan. Its refreshing to have an animated movie bring laughter and action to the screen so the whole family can enjoy.

theMovementz Review: the Incredible HULK

With jaw dropping action this years The Incredible Hulk pumps its way through theatres with an Abominable force that's sure to have the next installment to the franchise become another box office 'smash'. The direction and special effects for a lack of better term 'HULKS' that of its predecessors. With a more realistic look and story line, its seems that Marvel knows now to follow the books more carefully. We are pretty sure this will not be the last of the Hulk due to some underlining tones and guest appearances by non other than Tony Stark himself. There's no word yet but we bet that in early 2010 the sequel to HULK will include the likes of THE LEADER, and IRONMAN. A very goos action Movie

TheMovementz Review: Indian Jones and the Kingdom of The Crystal skull

With the millions of fans who rushed to see a classic icon return after 2 decades, we hope you all were satisfied with the result of the Indian Jones series. Although it may look as if the Archaeologist hero has an heir now. We are not quit sure what the response will be from all those die hard Harrison ford fans. But who knows maybe by then writers would have gained back that special thing called an imagination and a new world of Indian Jones adventures will open up for the upcoming generation.

theMOVEMENTZ Review: Baby Mama

Tina Fey provides us with an "ALMOST" Funny comedy but easily forgettable. With most of her cast from SNL Amy Phoeler and familiar faces from the comedic families that brought you 40 year old virgin, and even the guy from the pc and apple commercials. But it still was shy of a great comedy. As a matter of fact Baby ma' ma was something close to a Typical comedy about a high caliber business woman who made her advancements up the corporate ladder which in turn made her too busy to settle down start a family and blames her inability to have children on her mother.
Predictable because in the end she shows an unfit woman how to raise herself and mature into a woman who starts her own family. In the light of it the busy business woman discovers love, and has her wishes come true with a new child and family of her own. Almost picture perfect. That's why this movie was only
Ok.

Narnia-prince Caspian review

theMovementz Review:Narnia-Prince Caspian

Okay so the second installment of Narnia and this is going to be the first movie review we do as TheMovementz.
The story begins with the birth of a Prince Caspians cousin, which then motivates his power driven uncle to follow through with his plot of Caspians assassination. While riding through the Narnian forest Caspian is forced to call on ancient friends for the sake of his life and the Kingdom.
Narnia was a thrilling experience, magical to say the least. Prince Caspian has a charming allure to his character which adds a refreshing compliment in embracing his role as a courageous prince.
Narnia is a fantastic movie that is sure to bring out your childhood world of fantasy and adventure. A definite must see, 2 and a half Z's out of 3
